I had severe postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety with my first son. My old ways of practicing yoga (long classes and wild postures) were far from healing and actually created more stress. I had to relearn how to practice as a mom, which meant incorporating yoga into my life. It meant intentional living.
Now, two kids (and an even more hectic house) later, I know firsthand that when we start to prioritize ourselves, our whole family benefits too. Our connections are stronger, our relationships more loving, and the energy in the house more joyous.
